John is the program academic coordinator. He is a board-certified professional ergonomist (BCPE#83) providing service in ergonomic engineering and specializing in engineering controls of cumulative trauma disorders.

He is Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of New Hampshire. He is a member of IEE-EMBS, SIGMA Xi, ASSE, ASEE, RESNA, and HFES.

His expertise has been used nationally and internationally by courts, industry, national boards, and the military.
