“I attended the Matheson 5 day Functional Capacity Evaluation seminar in Las Vegas, NV in February 2009. The course builds upon the experience of practicing therapists by explaining how to justify clinical observations in a medico-legal context (IE. return to work, lifetime cost of care for severe disabilities, etc.) The thick binder of references and outlines of course material is also very valuable. You can actually refresh your memory with them, unlike printed slide handouts from most trainers.
