Fiona Allen, BHSc (HONS) OT

Fiona Allen, BHSc (HONS) OT, graduated from the University College of Ripon and York St. John in York, England in 1993, immigrating to Vancouver, Canada in 1994 and entering into private practice that same year. As a Consulting Occupational Therapist (OT), she has specialized in working with individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other catastrophic injury in both clinical and community settings. Trained as a Functional Capacity Evaluator, she currently works with Back in Motion Functional Assessments Inc., providing assessment, OT training and consulting services to both clinicians and third party funding concerns, including insurance companies and legal counsel. With a working background in Vocational Rehabilitation and Ergonomics, Driver Rehabilitation, Mobility Evaluations and creative therapies, Fiona has comprehensively developed her holistic approach, including working with family systems. In addition, she co-founded the original Richmond Brain Injury Support Group through the Pacific Coast Brain Injury Association of British Columbia, Canada.
