This intense program immerses the student in the thought processes and tools it takes to produce a valid, individualized evaluation based on the demands of each referral.
This is the premier Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) training course available today. During your five days of training, you'll work with some of the top evaluators in North America. Each certification program instructor is also a full-time evaluator.
You will be trained to plan, administer and report an individualized FCE that meets the reliability and validity requirements and high standards of the Practice Hierarchy of Industrial Rehabilitation. The course will train you in a protocol that has been carefully built around evaluation tools which are widely accepted in the field, have been court-tested, have published, peer-reviewed reliability and validity studies, and are inexpensive to purchase.
Students re-create the FCE process via a hands-on case study practicum under the guidance of their instructors. Administration of the FCE protocol is followed by a write up of test results. Presentation of the FCE report and critique by course instructors completes the practicum day.
