The Advanced Functional Capacity Evaluation training course provides delegates the opportunity to participate in lectures and roundtable discussions on cutting-edge issues in the field. Course curriculum will include a review of best-practice functional capacity evaluation (FCE) protocols, an update on key published literature, and a comparison and critique of major FCE systems. While updating and sharing skills with other highly experienced evaluators, delegates will receive intense preparation for some of the field's most challenging issues in the clinic and in the courtroom. Clinicians will improve the defensibility of their work and gain the skills required to comprehensively critique competitors in the field.

Trying to streamline your process of how you are performing functional capacity evaluations or just need someone to bounce ideas off of as you grow your program? This module-based course supports the functional capacity evaluator who is looking for practical application techniques, fine tuning evaluation flow and a Matheson Trainer to help mentor their practice, technique and skills. (To gain the most from this workshop, students are strongly encouraged to have at least 6 months of FCE experience. This course is not an introduction to FCE.
