Take out the Trash

I had an employer ask me about ergonomic equipment for the large garbage cans (30-35 gallon...large ones used in kitchens/food prep/restaurants).  He had an employee injured while lifting the garbage can into the dumpster.  The dumpster is about 4-5 feet tall and the large garbage can is on wheels so the push/pull is actually pretty easy.

Is anyone familiar with any type of equipment for assisting with dumping these large trash cans/bags?  I had thought about a ramp that could go up to the dumpster and one of the employees thought there was some dype of pneumatic or hydrolic lift that could be used.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

John, I have proposed some

John,

I have proposed some solutions for a company with a similar problem that come from a company called Supply Center Online (www.supplycenteronline.com).  They have devices called Hydraulic Elevating Carts that may do the job-perhaps something like hcart-1000-LD ($709).  Hope this helps.
