Using NOC for Quantifying Ability

I recently spoke with Worksafe BC about an FCE that was completed on a worker. They were confused since the summary of abilities used the CCDO (Matheson) values for work ability. It listed her ability within the MEDIUM category which is lifting up to 50 lbs. The Board person was confused because they "are taught only to use the NOC values" which places medium at up to 44 lbs. The NOC goes on to say that HEAVY is anything over 44 lbs.

Does anyone out there still use the CCDO levels?
