Is there a box that you could recommend and a place of purchase for the isoinertial lifting (occasional lift) test? Also, in looking at the Snook norms in the columns that display "height" (20" and 30"), what is this measure referring to? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Lifting box

Hello,
We are using the Matheson box for the PILE and isoinertial lift tests and I wonder how much weight the box is actually capable of holding.

isoinertial lifting

Hello,

The box that you can purchase for the isoinertial lifting (occasional lift) test is the Matheson Box (formerly known as the PILE Lift box). It is available on our website. This can be used for the occasional and frequent lift tests that are in your FCE manual.

As far as the Snook norms in Chapter 17 - Strength in the FCE Manual, the height (20" and 30") is referring to the distance that the box is moved or the "Vertical Distance".

Please email me if you have any additional questions or need more clarification.
