Does anyone have any recommendations for video camera specs for use with pre and post offer filming?  I haven't bought a video camera in years so I am unsure of the what to look for such as zooming capabilities, making copies, type of storage, etc.. Thanks!

Hello, Here is what our

Hello,

Here is what our clinical advisor suggested:Three things I would take into consideration regarding video recording equipment;

Choose one that is all digital memory-DAT tapes and writing to a DVD makes just one more step to transfer video to you computer for emailing and archiving.

Anti-vibration technology can make the recording much smoother during playback.

Digital zoom is inherent in all cameras and is interlinked with video quality-whereas optical zoom does not diminish video quality. I would also consider battery life, price of spare batteries, and size-when I am out in the field I am most often doing several things at once-hence being able to quickly and safely stow a smaller camera is real nice. I would make sure you go somewhere that allows you to play with the cameral before purchasing it. I like to shop at Best Buy, but hate their return policy labyrinth. Buy it at Sam's for a little less and have a year to get a replacement without any hassle!
