Cancelation fees for FCE

We are opening a new clinic and offering FCE's in Canada. We are unsure of how to set up our fee schedule with regards to cancelation fees. According to BCSOT cancelations within 24 hours are subject to $250-$500 fee for med-legal services and court appearences. Is this a reasonable cancelation fee?

FCE cancelation fee

Our clinic does a considerable number of FCEs for Vocational Rehab in our area.  We negotiated a 50% no show fee with them because it takes so much to fill that many spots on a PT schedule in the clinic when someone does not show up for an FCE appointment.  This helps cover some of the lost time without punishing the agency with a full charge.  Seems to work well for us and we have very few no-shows.
