Disability and Impairment Ratings

I have been asked by Orthopaedic Surgeons to include Disability and Impairment Ratings (AMA 5th Ed.) as part of the FCE. Is this a common request? Is this done by the evaluator or the primary physician? Any info is helpful! Thx

Disability and Impairment Ratings
My belief is that in Rhode Island only physicians may produce impairment ratings. You should check with your local professional association and department of health to determine if you are functioning with your scope of practice.

The same is true here in Indiana, but in Kentucky, therapists can generate impairment ratings. Your states professional orgainization should be able to help you with this question.
