Can anyone provide information or identify any barriers to doing job analysis for the company you work for? I work for a hospital and am wondering if doing the JA's for the hospital I work for will be a conflict of any type.
It seems there are often criticisms of a thurough JA-claims from workers that you aren't looking at the right stuff, from management that they don't really have to do "that", etc. A neutral, independent party makes you more impartial, but obviously problems sometimes have to be worked out. It would be nice if another facility in your area desired the same service-do a criss/cross and hope they do as thurough a job as you would! Other than that, the only suggestion I would give would be to have the safety department make sure things are in order before you begin-that can help deflect a lot of "re-work".
