I am a native Spanish speaker, and after reading the translations provided, I'd like to warn everyone that the translations for the Oswestry low back questionnaire are very poor. They are gramatically incorrect and flat out do not make any sense. It seems that rather than doing a word for word translation, they just cut and pasted the entire text to a translation website such as babelfish.

Using an interpretor due to a language barrier makes the FCE more valid, not less. If your client does not understand what is going on due to a language barrier, the results of the test are meaningless. By using an interpretor, your results are more defendable because you can document that you took the effort to assure understanding of the procedures by the client. As far as RCR questionnaires available in Spanish: the Oswestry is available in Spanish on the internet. I will try to find the URL. A "Google" search may lead to sites that offer purchase of some pain questionnaires in Spanish.
