Hi,

My company is currently in the process of opening a Work Hardening program and we are looking at purchasing software that has a comprehensive bank of rehab exercises for all exercise/rehab equipment.

Any advise/recommendations regarding software of this nature would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Neil

Neil, I am not sure exactly

Neil, I am not sure exactly what you are asking.  Although rehab equipment can be used in a work conditioning program, one of the focuses of transitioning from a traditional rehab construct to a work conditioning program is the implementation of "work simulation" activities.  In other words, when following a focus on functional abilities, it may be more beneficial to have the client disassemble/reassemble an Airdyne bike rather than ride it.

If you are looking for ideas on how to use your rehab equipment and/or ideas on how to enhance your program with low-cost/free equipment/supplies, RMA offers a great course on Work Conditioning, that includes an excellent list of ideas.  Not only that, you will get invaluable insight and tools to help deal with those "problem cases".  If you would like some ideas from me and/or other "posters", give me an idea of what industry you expect to see workers from, and we can help you brain-storm.  Half the fun is being creative!  Hope this helps-
