I had to shut down my practice and I of course had to leave everything to the bank.  Now I work for another company that desires to have FCE's performed and I now need to gather equipment once again.  Does anybody have any old equipment they want to sell as the Crawfore Small Parts Desterity, Bennett Hand Tool, Valpar 9, etc.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

I completed an FCE last week and realized upon evaulating the data that 1) the client's grip strength was substantially lower than other tests, and 2) the CVs' were almost entirely too high, and the SD was too large, indicating possible low effort. The client put forth good effort and was reliable in other tests, so this was a surprising result. I compared the Jamar used against another in clinic and see that it was an equipment malfunction issue, as the Jamar I used read only 30-50% of the value of another Jamar in clinic across tests.

  I have a push/pull sled and and have the opportunity to travel to other locations for FCE's, it is quite difficult to take the sled to another testing site. Any recommendations on alternate equipment?

We are looking for a new treadmill.  The Modified Bruce Treadmill Test  has a grad of 0%- 22%-  can anyone tell me the type/model of treadmill they are using in their clinic(s) to meet these test criteria.

Has anybdoy used a strapless HR watch monitor and if so are they as accurate as compared to the monitors with straps?

I know the EPIC lift can give solid lifting amounts for occasional and frequent but what about the constant category?  Can the EPIC give me a lifting amount for a "constant" basis?

Has any one purchased or made a balance beam, particularly one that meets the requirements for the Matheson software? I am still in the process of building our FCE program and this is something that the physicians I work with have requested.

I am wondering if anyone has built anything to resemble a balance beam, and can give me suggestions.
