WorkSafe Ergonomics Solutions
The WorkSafe Ergonomic Solutions training gives you real world tools to implement a company-wide ergonomic program that actually resolves ergonomic issues. This is a 3-day program that provides a framework to allow all employees to take responsibility for personal and company ergonomic issues that may lead to soft tissue injuries.

This is a practical hands-on training program. The tools and concepts learned in this workshop can be used in office, medical and industrial settings and are supported by the web-based Matheson WorkSafe software which enables easy implementation of a company-wide ergonomic program.
Days 1 and 2 of the course will start with the basics of ergonomic principles and learning how to identify risk factors through observation, analysis and group discussion and using a solutions-based approach to address and resolve these risk factors. Participants will be taught the paper versions of the tools on Days 1 and 2, and then on Day 3 you will also be using the Matheson WorkSafe online program which will teach you how to work as a consultant in the industry using our software. Case studies will be used to ensure proficiency in the identification of risk factors, the application of solutions-based principles and the use of the paper tools and the web-based program to bring the cases to resolution. Each participant will leave the training with a 60-day free trial of the web-based program as well as a complete set of the paper-based evaluation forms and a report format.
Certification
Matheson WorkSafe provides web-based ergonomic software for companies to solve their own ergonomic problems. Our goal is to certify Ergonomic Specialists in our Worksafe philosopy to serve as consultants for industrial, medical and office settings. To be eligible to apply for the Certified WorkSafe Evaluator (CWSE) certification, one must be present and fully participate in all 3 days of the course, complete a written test at the end of the course and score at least an 85%, and then submit 3 case studies using the Matheson WorkSafe web-based software for review to show mastery with the concepts of the WorkSafe philosophy.

Hours:
21 Contact Hours if class goes until 5 p.m.on all 3 days. At times the class may be finished earlier. If you leave the class early your certificate of completion will reflect how many hours you actually attended the course.

Cancellation Policy - In order to receive a refund, cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to the first day of the course. If your cancellation is made less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course, you will receive credit toward a future Matheson course.
