With Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) developing rapidly in the United Kingdom (UK), there is growing demand for knowledgeable, well-trained VR professionals in the public and private sectors.
To best serve the needs of this growing market, it is critical that VR practicioners learn and maintain state-of-the-art skills, knowledge, and systems to facility the establishment of high standards in the UK - standards that will guide the delivery of care in the UK into the next decade.
To achieve this goal, RMA has partnered with Obair Associates Ltd, a UK-based provider of VR services, to offer a UK Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) training course, starting in 2010.
The UK FCE training course will be built upon the success of the U.S. FCE program offered by Matheson, including "best practices." It will, however, be customized to address the unique needs of the VR practicioners in the UK.
More information will be posted on both websites when courses in the UK become available.
